I could draw.
The bed in a warmer room doesn't help except I no longer go to sleep on the too-small couch which I used to do before going into the cold bedroom...
I will try to fight with my dark demons.
A friend, wonderful, beloved worker with the homeless, said that when she went to visit women who had gotten rooms, their beds (on top and nearby) were surrounded by everything they needed, and there was barely room for them to crawl in to them.
Her place was cluttered, so full of stuff, that it was almost impossible to walk down the hall. finally, instead of going to a therapist, which she knew would take years, she decided to hire someone on Tuesday nights. She sat in a chair with three boxes, keep, trash and go to the Pine Street good willish place. When she got to the point that she started taking things out of the trash or the Pine Street box, she stopped. And he took those two boxes out of the apartment. A respite unit for homeless folks was named for her, three or four, maybe five years before she died, the car she was riding in hit by a drunk driver.
such are the leftovers of childhood...melissashookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02398008713376655570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8205011361740478772.post-86402358273648225042009-12-13T08:44:16.303-08:002009-12-13T08:44:16.303-08:00A full life. And then comes the urologist for the tiny bit of blood that appeared in my urine three years ago. And then there is the mammogram. And then the gynecologist. My appointment with her has gotten later and later, well into the summer.'

And then you carry on writing about your dog's grooming. Marvellous.
